Product information management (PIM) is helping retailers solve problems throughout the supply chain. The solution can be used to optimize product assortments, get products on to store shelves faster and support omnichannel initiatives. In the following episode of TouchPoints TV, I was interviewed by Retail Touchpoints Editor Debbie Hauss, responding to her questions on how PIM works, which types of retail companies can benefit most from PIM systems, and why many current e-Commerce systems can’t handle the same capabilities.
