Growth through Alliances

In 2020, we continued to build on the success of delivering fast time-to-value on a cloud-native platform. Additionally, we leveraged strength through relationships with our alliance partners. While our alliances have always been critical to our successful delivery, 2020 saw the launch of a formal growth through alliances strategy. We planned for and delivered growth through Alliances (both systems integrators and technology). 2020 saw the greatest increase in the number of implementations through our partners. We continue to scale and deliver into new, larger, and more complex client engagements. As a result, clients benefit from increased expertise on their projects and faster returns on their investments. 

Investment to build a stronger base for faster, disruptive innovation

In 2017, with a $35 million Series A investment, Riversand made the move to offer all solutions as cloud-native SaaS only. We accomplished this through a fully redesigned multi-domain Master Data Experience Platform. Our customers experienced first-hand the increase in focus on connectivitybig data scaleaugmented with AI/analyticsapp ecosystem. This period also saw the launch of our business-ready Ascend offering. 

Broader multi-domain offerings for expanded industries

Riversand launched a multi-domain MDM, giving businesses a greater ability to leverage their own data to deliver business insights. We expanded our customers’ operational flexibility by delivering SaaS-based PIM and MDM offerings to complement on-premise solutions.

Global expansion with wider client scopes

With the founding of a new subsidiary in Switzerland, Riversand expanded the reach of its solution. This period also saw growth in the Nordics, Germany, and France along with the expansion of our engineering and services teams.

Industry Expansion

Riversand grew its offerings by covering complex product hierarchies and facilitating extensive data reuse. We increased emphasis on data quality through embedded workflow collaboration and incorporated large data in-memory processing.

Founding

In 2001, Riversand built the industry’s first enterprise scale web-based PIM for sell-side products. We also made available the first SaaS offering in this space for buy-side products such as our Spare Parts Management Solution (SPMS).
