Customers, partners and key market influencers come together for Riversand Connections 2018 in Stuttgart, Germany
Houston, TX – November 6, 2018 – Riversand, a leading cloud Master Data Management (MDM) and Product Information Management (PIM) solution provider, hosted its first European event dedicated to customers and partners to foster education and share ideas across an ever-growing community dedicated to data and insights.
Ben Rund, VP of Business Development and GM DACH for Riversand, served as host for the event. Day One of the event was exclusively for customers, with an agenda heavily focused on customer presentations and stories of how MDM and PIM are being used to drive digital transformation initiatives. Day Two of the event was dedicated to partners, with an emphasis on sharing technology innovations and future plans for the Riversand data management platform.
There were several key learnings and take-aways from the event:
- A great agenda drives great participation – it was a packed two days with an agenda that combined sessions from customers, Riversand executives, and key partners. Riversand executives on the agenda included CEO Upen Varanasi who delivered keynotes on both days and Raman Parthasarathy, VP Strategy and Business Development. Sachin Kumar, Senior Director Customer & Partner Success Europe, and Nikhil Bhatia, Senior Director Product Management, delivered sessions on Riversand technology innovations and customer and partner enablement plans.
- Great customers are keen to learn from one another – many presentations throughout the day were delivered by customers themselves. - Disruption in the digital business era requires new tech – a common theme discussed was the fact that disruptive business models require a new approach to data management. This was very evident in a panel discussion involving Riversand execs, key customers and The Group of Analysts CEO and Chief Analyst Temel Kahyaoglu. To win in the future, organizations must look at new ways of delivering user experience, processing and managing data, and integrating cloud into everything they do.
